Black Friday Shopping

It is that time of year again for Black Friday shopping. This is one of my favorite shopping days especially the last couple of years since I quit working retail. How to save on Black Friday. First is to make a list and stick to it. Deals can seems so good you will want to buy them, thing is if you don't really need those items then you are not really saving. We tend to over spend on this day because we believe we are getting a deal that will not happen again. Stick to you list to save. Also decide ahead of time how much you have or are willing to spend this will help you save as well. Look through the Ads look for coupons and don't forget you reward cards. Plan where you need to go and sort you list by store. This can help you save gas money by planning your trip out.

Compare prices some retailers will price match thus saving you another trip to another store and gas money. Check to see if the retailer stacks coupons as well. Shop only sale item and clearance you can always wait to get those wanted items when they do go on sale at a later date. If you are shopping online go through Ebates or in my case My Points and earn points for shopping I'am already doing. They might also have online coupon codes. Use your checkpoints or Shopkicks to check in to store and earn points as well. You can also do the Retail Me Not app for discount codes to save. Go through you coupons check to see if they require a minimum purchase amount. I may not save you money if you have to purchase more to save just a few dollars. It may also help you to save if you purchase gift cards and use them to shop instead of cash or credit thus helping you to stay in budget. My Meijers offers discounts on gift cards so i can but at a discount then purchase with a coupon or reward and save twice. Happy Saving.
