Forgive me it's been awhile since I posted to my Blog. Went from working afternoons to working days and add to that Christmas shopping and decorating the house. So back to blogging. This is a great time to shop. If you haven't done you Holiday party yet then you can save plenty. As retail stores prepare for the end of the year that means lots of sale and markdowns. This is the one time that a sale can be better than markdowns. You see it's cheaper to put up sale signs than to pay employees to mark items down. That way there is less to markdown and less cost to markdown.
Right now going on at Old Navy they are having a 75% off sale. Both Kohl's, and JCPenny are having sale on their Clearance items. Meijer and Walmart have their holiday items on sale. This is also a good time to pick up household goods such as storage containers. lights, cards for next year gift wrap. Also Holiday cookie mixes, cereal, cake mixes, candy and other food items will be mark downed as well. Buy those gift sets for a discount on body wash, Cologne, Perfume and such items. Check out big grocery items at markdown prices like turkey's, hams and prime rib. We got a whole ham for $7.00 at Kroger marked down. Remember you can always freeze items as well as store those dry goods. Stock up on clothing or even put away for Birthday Gifts or even next Christmas. Just remember where you put them. I suggest a solid container that can't be seen through. Happy Saving
