Some of the best times to save you money are during holiday weekends. Frequently store will have additional sales at these times. These sales may start on Thursday or Friday. I have found at these times clothing stores will also have a sale on clearance items. This is one of my favorites when clearance is on sale that often means very cheap prices.
We often forget about some of these holidays. They are New Years Day, Martin Luther King Jr Day, Washington's Birthday(or President's Day), Easter, Memorial Day, Independence Day(4th of July), Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas.
I recommend shopping early if possible for the best selections . Also it is usually less busy if you avoid the weekend itself. Check with your favorite stores for their offers. Sign up for their emails and they will notify you. This is also true for many online shopping sites as well and they frequently will offer free shipping at these times. And check your mail as they may send coupons at these times as well. Happy Saving
