Buy Damaged or Discontinued Items

Another way to save money is by buying Damaged or Discontinued.Often grocery and retail stores will discontinue items to make room for new product. When this happens they will markdown or put on sale these item to get rid of them. You can buy just a few or even stock up if you have the space. Damaged item happen often in clothing, occasionally in groceries. This can be a 50% savings. Just because of a missing button, hole in a seam, broken zipper, broken chain on a necklace or bracelet these item can be easily fixed buy just with you spending just a few dollars.

I bought a dress with a broken zipper for $5.00 went home took out the zipper and sewed the dress together. Bought a necklace for $4.00 went home squeezed it with my tweezers and fixed it. You can get discounted socks, underwear, and T-Shirts just because the packaged has been ripped open or is missing something.Or even a top or bottom cheap because it was sold as a set and it is now missing a piece. This is a great way to save money on everyday items. Store also discount items the day following a holiday. This is a great way to get big saving on items. Happy Savings

  1. This is a great tip. If you know you are able to fix it, it's a great way to save money. I've done this a few times myself.
